You can't go wrong when deciding which park you want to visit first during your Walt Disney World trip. You can start at Animal Kingdom if you’re really itching to see some animals on the Kilimanjaro Safari. In that case, you can head over to Pandora and enjoy some cheeseburger pods from Satu'li Canteen. Another option is checking out EPCOT first. It is always fun to travel the world in just one afternoon, not to mention all the great dining experiences that exist in these countries and in the park as a whole. Or, if you're a massive Star Wars fan, maybe you can't wait to see Galaxy’s Edge and need to hit up Disney’s Hollywood Studios before anything. Docking Bay 7 offers the famous Ronto Wrap to really get you in the spirit of a galaxy far, far away. While all of these are great options and at the end of the day, you can plan your trip however you want, my favorite way to start a Walt Disney World vacation is by visiting the park where it all started, the Magic Kingdom. I love all four parks and always plan to visit each of them during my stays, but the Magic Kingdom perfectly encapsulates the magic of Disney and sets the tone for the entire vacation. It really feels like you’re entering a whole new world where all your dreams can (and will) come true. There is no better spot to stop and take in all the magic than right on Main Street, U.S.A. I am sure you'll be hungry after a long and busy travel day, right? Luckily, I believe the best first meal you can have on your Walt Disney World vacation is right down Main Street and in front of Cinderella’s Castle. That’s right, the restaurant that will kickstart the best vacation of your life is Casey’s Corner. Casey’s Corner is a baseball-themed restaurant that specializes in hot dogs and french fries. It is a quick-service restaurant, meaning you do not even have to make a reservation to dine here. Seating is available both inside and outside, but I would try to find a spot outside because you can get the most perfect view of Cinderella’s castle. If the heat is already too much for you, then dining inside is a great experience as well. You can even enjoy watching Disney short films while enjoying your delicious hot dog…oh yeah! I almost forgot the hot dogs! Casey’s Corner is famous for their foot-long hot dogs. You may think this is too big, but trust me when I say you won't want to stop eating them! Various hot dogs on the menu include toppings such as Walt’s Favorite Chili Recipe and cheese, or just the classic relish, pickles, and tomatoes. There is also currently the 50th Celebration Hot Dog, which includes strawberry-bacon jam, pieces of funnel cake, and powdered sugar. You can always opt for no toppings as well, and it is just as delicious. If you are still not convinced to try the foot-long hot dog, then you can still go for a regular-sized dog. Another option is to try my personal favorite, the corn dog nuggets. If you take a page out of my book and decide to go with the corn dog nuggets, don't forget to also order a side of cheese sauce to dip them in! I am drooling right now just thinking about them. Sides to go with your hot dogs include french fries or a Cuties mandarin. Plant-based hot dogs are also offered, with one even coming loaded with pickled slaw, barbeque vegan aioli, and roasted corn relish. With the only dessert currently on the menu being the Pressed Penny Silk Pie, Main Street, U.S.A. has plenty of other dessert options for you to walk to in minutes after finishing your meal. Right across the street is the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and towards the entrance of the park is the Main Street Confectionery. Casey’s Corner has been a staple of the Magic Kingdom since 1992, giving guests an authentic All-American experience with their All-American hot dogs. I can rave about the food (especially the corn dog nuggets) all day long, but the main reason I love starting my Walt Disney World vacation at Casey’s Corner is because of what is right outside. Cinderella’s castle is a view that no one can ever get tired of. There is no better experience than seeing that castle for the first time in a long time. Enjoying a delicious hot dog, listening to the music of Main Street, U.S.A., and taking in the beauty of Cinderella’s castle is, in my opinion, the best meal to start off your Walt Disney World vacation.
