While we all patiently wait for the next Star Wars sequel to hit theaters, Mickey’s Apprentices are going to offer you a sequel to one of our past articles, “The Foodie Guide to a Galaxy Far, Far Away.” This time, it’s all. about. breakfast. Disney's Hollywood Studios is home to some of Walt Disney World's latest and greatest attractions. One of the park's newest lands, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, offers some one of a kind experiences that help immerse guests into that galaxy far, far away. For all those who grew up with dreams of flying the Millennium Falcon, that is now a possibility over at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. For all the fans of Rey, Finn, Poe, and more, you can join in on the battle against the First Order with Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Of course, you can’t open an immersive land without catering to the foodies, right? With Batuu being a hotspot for rope drop these days, there needs to be a great breakfast option for one of the most popular new spots in the park. That’s where Ronto Roasters comes in. Located at the end of Black Spire Outpost, Ronto Roasters is a quick service restaurant with some lovely outdoor seating where you can order the galaxy-famous Ronto Wrap. A regular Ronto Wrap consists of roasted pork, grilled pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, and tangy slaw wrapped in pita bread. While this Galaxy’s Edge specialty can be found throughout the land all day, its distant relative is more exclusive and flies under the radar of many guests. The Ronto Morning Wrap is located solely at Ronto Roasters, and consists of eggs, grilled pork sausage, shredded cheddar, and peppercorn sauce in pita bread. For $12.49, this delicious spin on a breakfast sandwich can be yours to enjoy with a peaceful view of the rest of the land. If the original seemed more appealing to you, then don’t fear. Ronto Roasters also offers the classic Ronto Wrap in the morning for $12.49, so you can take your pick to help kickstart your day. However, if you’re set on grabbing the one with eggs and shredded cheddar, then you have a short window to grab it. Morning specialties at Ronto Roasters are only available for less than three hours a day, between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM. The foods that you can only find during this window include that Ronto Morning Wrap, and the Rising Moons Overnight Oats. If you’re looking for either a lighter breakfast or side to pair with your Ronto Wrap, then these oats are for you. Mixed with dragon fruit, seasonal fruit, and yogurt, these overnight oats are delicious and refreshing for a hot and sunny day in Orlando…I mean Batuu. An alternative that costs the same $6.99 price as those overnight oats is the Andoan Fruit with Muja Sauce. This plant-based option consists of sticks of jicama, cucumber, pineapple, melon, and dragon fruit. These delicious fruits are then topped with a tamarind sauce and peppercorn ash. There is even a plant-based alternative to the Ronto Morning Wrap in the Triple Suns Breakfast Wrap. Coming in at $11.49, this wrap is made with plant-based egg, smoky chickpea-onion slaws and roasted tomato sauce. It is even all wrapped in pita bread, just like the Ronto Wrap. While the various wraps and fruit make for a delicious breakfast, no morning can be complete without coffee. One of the best parts about a Ronto Roasters breakfast doesn’t even come from Ronto Roasters. Just a few steps away from the quick service restaurant is a little kiosk called Kat Saka’s Kettle. While this spot is best known for offering their Outpost Popcorn Mix, they also offer something else to help enhance your Galaxy’s Edge breakfast even further. The Cold Brew Black Caf can be found here for $5.49, which is Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew topped with sweet cream cheese and chocolate puffs. A spiked version is even available for $14.50, which takes the already delicious drink and adds chocolate liqueur. If you aren’t feeling as adventurous and just want some regular Joffrey’s Coffee, then that is also available back at Ronto Roasters for $3.49. While Rise of the Resistance or building your very own lightsaber might be the highlight of this immersive land for many, all the foodies out there have their Ronto Wraps to look forward to whenever they have a long and fun Hollywood Studios day. With the Cold Brew Black Caf just being introduced to Walt Disney World earlier this year, there is no telling what kinds of delicious treats are on the horizon. Until then, all visitors of Batuu have great options for lunch, dinner, and most importantly, breakfast!
