Waiting in line for Rise of the Resistance builds up quite the appetite. Luckily for everyone venturing off to Batuu, Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios has plenty of great offerings that not only help immerse you in the land, but taste delicious as well. There is only one spot in Galaxy’s Edge that you will need a dining reservation to get into, and that is Oga’s Cantina. While there aren’t too many food options here, there is a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for you to choose from if you just need something to cool down with. The atmosphere here is worth checking out alone, and you can grab some Batuu Bits (chips and dip) or the Happabore Sampler (charcuterie board) if you’re hungry enough. If you find yourself rope dropping the land and skipped out on breakfast, then you can head over to Ronto Roasters and enjoy the world-famous Ronto Wrap. This meal includes roasted pork, grilled pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, and tangy slaw all wrapped in pita bread. If you make it to Ronto Roasters before 11:00 AM, then you can go for the Ronto Morning Wrap and some Rising Moon Overnight Oats. The Ronto Morning Wrap consists of eggs, grilled pork sausage, shredded cheddar, and peppercorn sauce in pita bread, and these overnight oats are flavored with dragon fruit and seasonal fruits. If you are looking for a plant-based option in the morning, then you can either order the Triple Suns Breakfast Wrap or Andoan Fruit with Muja Sauce. The wrap is made with plant-based egg, smoky chickpea-onion slaw, and roasted tomato sauce all wrapped in pita bread. The fruit dish includes sticks of jicama, cucumber, pineapple, melon, and dragon fruit doused in a Tamarind sauce and dusted with peppercorn ash. It is served all day until the restaurant closes at 3:00 PM, along with the classic Ronto Wrap and Kyryll Pork Rinds. If that Ronto Wrap sounds delicious to you but it’s after 3:00 PM, then look no further than Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. The Ronto Wrap can be found here after Ronto Roasters closes, and is available all the way until Hollywood Studios shuts down for the night at 9:00 PM. Other dishes you can find here include the Fried Endorian Chicken Tip Yip and Pirjanad Hot Chicken Tip Yip. If crispy chicken isn’t for you, then you can also try the beef and stir-fry, poke bowl, pork ribs, or marinated chicken salad. The one plant-based meal over at Docking Bay 7 is the Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread, which includes plant-based meatballs, herb hummus, tomato cucumber relish, and pita. While all of these options are delicious, most of them have been around since Galaxy’s Edge opened in Walt Disney World back in 2019. The newest member of the Batuu foodie family that you may not have tried yet is the Cold Brew Black Caf over at Kat Saka’s Kettle. The food cart offers this drink all day and can be served with or without alcohol. It is made with Joffrey’s cold brew and is topped with sweet cream cheese and chocolate puffs. If you opt for the spiked version, then some chocolate liqueur will be thrown in the mix. Speaking of mix, Kat Saka’s Kettle is also where you can find one of Walt Disney World’s more…unique…popcorn offerings, the Outpost Popcorn Mix. This snack is a blend of both sweet and spicy flavored popcorn. It has been the source of a lot of controversy amongst Disney fans, with some loving it and some despising it. Surprisingly enough, it is not the most controversial item you can find in Galaxy’s Edge. That reward has to go to both Blue Milk and Green Milk. The Milk Stand is another kiosk in Galaxy’s Edge and offers these two drinks inspired by some of Luke Skywalker’s favorite refreshments. They are both plant-based blends of coconut and rice milk, with Blue Milk having a more fruity flavor and Green Milk having a more citrus-inspired flavor. Much like the Cold Brew Black Caf, these drinks can also be served with alcohol. Blue Milk can be made with Bacardi Rum, while Green Milk can be made with Corazon Blanco Tequila. The debate between these two drinks isn’t whether Blue Milk or Green Milk is better (Team Green!), but more like if either of them are good in the first place. The best way to find your stance in this debate is to taste them both yourself, which is a must if you are a Star Wars fan. The interesting food and drink offerings in Galaxy’s Edge may sound intimidating at first, but really help add to the experience that you are visiting another world. It can be hard to pass up other dining spots in Hollywood Studios like Sci-Fi and Hollywood Brown Derby, but all Star Wars fans need to try some of the special things that Batuu has to offer. How else are you going to find out the truth about Blue Milk and Green Milk?
