Rope dropping Magic Kingdom can strike up quite the appetite. Where should you go to build up some energy so you keep knocking out those rides? One of our recommendations is Sleepy Hollow over in Liberty Square. Sleepy Hollow is a quick service restaurant that offers some of the best waffles you can find in all of Magic Kingdom. They are most famous for their Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich, which became so popular that they had to start serving it all day. With a price of $8.49, it consists of strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and all the chocolate-hazelnut spread you could ask for. While it may sound like much, it is perfect for giving you that extra boost you need in the morning. It is definitely big enough to share, so keep that in mind if more than one person in your party wants to try! The Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich is definitely delicious, but it is unfortunately not shaped like our favorite mouse. Don’t worry though, as Sleepy Hollow also offers giant Mickey-shaped waffles for breakfast. For $6.49, you can get that big Mickey waffle with some powdered sugar. You can also opt for your waffle to be topped with strawberries and whipped cream, but that will cost you a total of $7.49. If you don’t make it to Sleepy Hollow until lunch time and still want a waffle, then another option is the Sweet-and-spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich. It is made with broccoli slaw and a honey-sriracha glaze, and also comes with chips. This sandwich will cost you $11.29 and can only be ordered after 11:00 AM. Luckily, you can still grab a coffee here whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner time. That Main Street, U.S.A. Starbucks line can get brutal, especially early in the morning. If you decide to have the most important meal of the day at Sleepy Hollow, then you can order some Joffrey’s coffee along with your waffle. If you waited until 11:00 AM to grab that sweet-and-spicy sandwich, then you still get your caffeine fix. Sleepy Hollow offers both Freshly Brewed Joffrey’s Coffee and Cold Brew Joffrey’s Coffee French Roast. You can even add an additional flavor to your cold brew for $0.50, with your options being vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel. While coffee is great during any time of the day, so is dessert! Another Sleepy Hollow specialty is their funnel cakes. You can get their Funnel Cake with Powdered Sugar for $7.29, or their Funnel Cake with Strawberries and Powdered Sugar for $8.29. The last item that we recommended over at Sleepy Hollow is for all the Haunted Mansion fans out there. They offer a Chilling Chamber Pop, which has featured various characters from the Haunted Mansion printed on a chocolate piece that tops the cake pop. The whole thing is made with chocolate crumbs, cherry buttercream, and dark chocolate pearls. The character that is currently featured is The Tightrope Walker from the stretching room. Don’t forget to get your camera ready before you dig in, because this is one of the most creative and unique snacks you can find in the whole park. In fact, snap some pictures of that Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich too. You are going to want to remember how great this breakfast was when you are reminiscing about your awesome Magic Kingdom day. Your trip to Sleepy Hollow is sure to be a tasty highlight!
